Beholding His Glory

MOVE is an acronym for Momemts of Opportunity, Vision and Enlargement. It is a concept that the Holy Spirit drop into my heart since 2004. It was at the moment in my life when I kept asking God what next? Where am I going from here and what is the future going to be like for me and the ministry that he has given to me. In my hour of wondering and feeling stuck with my current work as a medical sociologist with the NHS trust, and pastoring a church of around 120 people, I felt in my spirit that God wants me to breakout of my shelves and begin to expand and enlarge my territories. This search, yearning and desire to see more of God’s glory, power and anointing gave birth to our annual "MOVE" convention which is held on a yearly basis.

This year God has drop a theme in my spirit which is found in John1:12-14. In this passage of scripture John tells us that if we received Jesus and believe in His name, He will give us the right to power to become God’s children, children neither born of natural descent nor of human decision but born of God. John continues to tell us that, the same Jesus who was with God in the beginning and was God himself existed as the “Word” and in verse 14 He tells us that, the Word became flesh in others, it became tangible, real, that many were translated, transfigured and transformed from the Word state into a human state and came to live with us. But the key is this, He did not just come to live or dwell with us but we “Behold His Glory”. The glory of the only begotten son who came from the father full of grace and truth. This verse of the scripture is amazing as it reveals an aspect of God who came to live with us as a man and also as God. God came to live with us in the form of man. He was also a man who radiates, exhibits and emanates the “Glory of God almighty”. He was a man who reflects the glory of God and that glory is the key to our salvation, it is the key to access the supernatural and the key to our deliverance, success and greatness in this life.

The glory that Jesus reflected reveals two main aspect of God, which is grace and truth. Grace is the unmerited favour of God for our life’s that gives as access into His kingdom. In Eph 2:8, when we behold his glory we experience his grace that do not only bring to us salvation but bible declares in Heb 4:16 that “we should come behold unto the throne of GRACE that we may obtain MERECY and find GRACE TO HELP US IN TIME OF NEED. The amplified version says that “let us then fearlessly and confidently and beholdly draw to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favour to us sinners) that we may receive mercy for our failures and find grace to help in good time for every need (appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it).

I believe with all my heart that anybody who can “Behold His Glory” receives a divine anointing, unction for help; I mean well-timed help coming just when we need it. I believe that God work seasons when that season comes; NOTHING can stop your opportunities, your vision and your enlargement. Habakkuk said the vision is for an appointed time. We need to “MOVE” from failure to victory, from defeat to glory, from timidity to boldness, from lack and want to God’s abundance. This autumn season is offering someone change and transformation and I strongly believe that as we    Behold His Glory, the supernatural presence of God will break forth in our lives. It will bring us out from captivity, bondage and oppression to a place of freedom.

In 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. The Glory of God brings divine transformation and change into our lives. In this autumn season the Manifested Glory of God will bring you into our rest.

In John 1:14, I stated that His Glory reveals two main things. God’s Grace and His Truth. Bible says that you will know the truth and the truth will set us free. Jesus declares that He is the way, the truth and the light; whenever, truth is reveal, light also come and light means growth and development. David said the Lord is my light and my salvation in whom shall I fear (Ps 27:1) Whenever the truth of God’s word is revealed in our hearts, light appears and darkness disappears hence we are set free from bondage, captivity and satanic powers. When darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people, God causes the light of His Presence which is His glory to be seen upon us. This causes foreigners (people who don’t know you) and even kings to give unto you (people in power (Is 60:1-3).

I believe that any time that God wants to set us free, change our destinies and transformed our lives, we must be ready to MOVE from our current state of life of negative mentality, and low self-esteem to where God has plan for us. God said to Abraham in Gen 12:1 at the time called Abram to MOVE from his kindred, from his father’s house and from his country. God said to Moses to tell the children of Israel to MOVE on despite the red sea facing them and their lives in danger of the Egyptians(Exo14:15) God said to Zerubabel that they have dwell long enough in this mountain and they must MOVE on as the mountains are nothing before Him. God said to Joshua that it is time to crossover the Jordan River and take over the promise land that means it is time to MOVE on. We must MOVE from obscurity to visibility, we must MOVE from non-achievements to achievements, from sickness to health, from doubt to faith, from brokenness to wholeness, from complaining to giving glory to God. To MOVE means we must recognize that Moment, or that season of Opportunity, Vision and Enlargement. That moment is critical and many looses out on God’s timing, either they are too busy, or they perhaps not just ready or sometimes many get distracted by satanic influences, plans and schemes of the devil.

But praise God, this year and in this autumn season, in the month of October from 21st-25th  to be precise, we are once again hosting a  move convention bringing together men and woman across the globe to “Behold His Glory”.

What does it mean to “Behold His Glory”:

1. To behold his glory is to experience a supernatural release of God’s anointing upon your life.

2.  It is to experience God’s grace

3.  It is to experience His divine favour

4.  It is to experience His joy, benefits and blessings.

5. To behold His glory is to see the bigness of God and not your problems or
what the devil is doing

6. To behold His glory is to discover the spirit of dominion and be in charge instead of being afraid
of what demons are doing.

7.  To MOVE from obscurity, from shame, and from disgrace to prominence, excellence and fruitfulness.
